 Future Stars is for students ages 9 to 14 with previous tennis basics in fundamentals and beginning strategy for singles and doubles. The students are separated into groups and work the first hour on strict fundamentals with proper technique, including footwork.
The second hour consists of match play where the students receive strategy coaching on singles and doubles play.
Each month the coaches will evaluate the student to determine if he or she is ready to move to the next level of classes or continue in the fundamental class.
Your child will have 8 - 10 classes a month, for a 3-month session.
Program Round Robin:
The last few weeks of each session the students will participate in a round robin to evaluate progress. There will be a trophy awarded to the winner and runner-up.
Round Robin Social:
There are monthly round robins for all of the players to enter. Please check with the instructor or Website. Separate entry for this event.
Credits:
All rainouts will be credited towards the next month of clinics. There are no refunds. There are no credits given for no-shows and one credit for a "sick" day with a 24 to 48-hour advance notice.
